In Our Community

MISSIONS

HOPE Church is involved with mission work locally, interstate and throughout the world. Below you will find some of the missions with which we are most frequently involved.

HOPE COMPUTER LAB

We run a computer lab on Saturday mornings at our Church. Aimed at helping people in our Community with computer skills, online job applications, and job searches. (On Pause due to Covid until Spring of 2022)

At Our Church

Worship – Sundays at 9:30 A.M.

Worship is the explosion of intimacy between God and God’s people. Week by week HOPE Church seeks to usher the worshipping community into God’s presence by Scripture and song, prayer and confession, and celebrating the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) every Sunday. Music is geared to connect people with the Holy God, and the preaching seeks to make Holy Scripture breathe life into our lives.

Everyone is welcome at Worship, from birth to adult. Here’s how it works… Babies and children 4 and under, can enjoy Worship with their parents, or have fun & games in our staffed Nursery. Children aged 5 and up usually participate in Worship with their parents. If your child needs a break from the Sanctuary, feel free to take them to the Fellowship area where you can cater to their needs and continue to see and hear the Worship service on a monitor and audio system.

After Worship, everyone (babies included), gathers together for Fellowship.

TOTAL LIVING CENTER

10:30am on the third Thursday of every month, we lead Devotions at the Total Living Center Adult Day Care facility in Raleigh, NC.

RALEIGH DREAM CENTER

The mission of the Raleigh Dream Center is to bring hope and restoration to the hurting and broken in the Triangle area. Our vision is to be an inner-city resource center bringing Christ-centered solutions to addiction, hunger, trauma, homelessness, and unemployment through residential and community outreach programs. HOPE4KIDS – CHILDRENS MINISTRY

HOPE4Kids is our comprehensive Children’s Ministry dedicated to the needs of Children from Birth to 6th Grade.  Our focus is on teaching and equipping children to become followers of Jesus Christ and then be able to apply their faith to the situations they face on a daily basis.

While “HOPE4Kids” is Hope’s Children’s Ministry, we look at the home as the primary teaching facility for children.  The Church (and our Children’s Ministry) are resources to enhance the parent’s teaching.

HOPE Church has many activities that revolve around the children and their families. We have regular family movie nights, class teaching, Vacation Bible School and many other functions throughout the year.

HOPE4Kids has specialized teaching for the following two age groups:

Pre-Elementary (age 2-5)

Elementary (age 6-11)

HOPE4YOUTH MINISTRY

We invite youth from 7th grade through 12th grade to join us as we have an impact for Christ in our Church, Community and the World.  We are connected through worship, conversation and action.  All youth are welcome in this ministry, so come see how you can have an impact!

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

The transition from youth to adult can be a difficult course to navigate. The Outlet offers ministry tailored specifically to young adults of post-high school age.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY & PRAYER – WNSP

On Wednesday HOPE Church provides a supper starting at 6:15 p.m. followed by a Bible Study at 7 p.m.  Then at 7:45 p.m. there is a time of prayer. Our children begin their instruction at 7 p.m.  WNSP is open to all ages.

Men & Women of HOPE

Men of HOPE – Ministry

The Men of Hope meet twice monthly to fellowship with one another and to lift each other’s prayer needs. Our purpose is to grow as fathers or husbands, sons or brothers – wherever God has placed us and for whatever influence we have in our families and our communities. We meet in a relaxed, no pressure, no intimidation atmosphere to share our concerns and challenges and to offer guidance on how to best minister to one another. We do this with no judgement because we recognize that we are children of God on the same walk.

We finished reading and discussing the book Man in the Mirror (by Patrick Morley), which helped us identify various issues that men face and what God’s Word has to say about each. Currently, we are reading Forged in Faith (by Rod Gragg), which provides a historical account of the founding of our nation and how faith, commitment, and conviction in Christ shaped the birth of a Christian nation.

We look for opportunities to see how we may serve others in our community.

Women of HOPE- Ministry

As followers of Christ, we are Women of Hope. We gather on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm to study the Word of God, pray, and fellowship.

We have covered topics such as prayer, spiritual transformation, discerning the voice of God, spiritual gifts and spiritual disciplines.

We are committed to lifting each other up in times of joy and times of trial. Women of Hope do life together in love. We are seeking to discern God’s call on our group for missional outreach in our community.

Please join us anytime.
